PelotonU is grateful to introduce two new 2022 board members: Adry Martinez and Gerardo Interiano.
Two more incredible leaders joined PelotonU to help working college students reach their goals.
The PelotonU board has guided our community effectively through the pandemic, and now we’re ready to grow. The path forward is clear: to expand our work nationally so more students have a flexible and supportive path to graduation.
We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Adry Martinez and Gerardo Interiano to this team of extraordinary leaders. Adry is our first alumna board member, well positioned to ensure our work adapts to student input. Gerardo, a long-time Austin leader, is now based in Pittsburgh, and brings a national perspective and gift for strategic partnerships to our work. Here’s more about their expertise.
Adry earned her AA and BA at Southern New Hampshire University through PelotonU, during which time she was also a volunteer for our community engagement events. She has been employed by the City of Austin for six years, through where she learned about PelotonU and received employer support and flexibility. Adry was promoted to process coordinator upon earning her bachelors and shares her incredible story in this video.
Gerardo leads Aurora’s efforts to ensure self-driving vehicles are developed and delivered to our roads safely. With more than fifteen years of advocacy, campaign, and legislative experience, he has brought highly regulated products to market in various industries, including transportation and telecommunications. Based in Pittsburgh, Gerardo has a B.A. and J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin. He was appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to the Pennsylvania Highly Automated Vehicle Advisory Committee as well as the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board. He received the 2020 University of Texas at Austin Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award, is a 2017 Presidential Leadership Scholar, and received the 2015 Austin Under 40 Government and Public Affairs Award.
